When Grandma Comes Over

When Grandma Comes Over

Grandma calls and announces that she will be coming by for a visit in about half an hour.

When she comes she is surprised to see her grandchild running to her as if possessed and hugging her with all his tiny might.

“What is it, Eric??” She asks.

“Now that you’re here, grandma, we have everything!”

“Whatever do you mean?” Inquired the surprised granny.

“When you called, mom said: ‘That’s all we need right now.’

So now that you’re here, we have all we need!”

A Teacher Questioned Her Drawing

Little kids can be incredibly fun. They are brutally honest and don’t care if their opinion offends you. They always speak what they think and often come up with witty comebacks that leave us adults speechless.

Below are some of the best responses of kids that will put a smile on your face and will remind you why we love them so much.

1.

A kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She walked around to look at the artwork. When she came to see a little girl who was working hard, she asked what the picture was.

The girl replied, “I’m drawing a picture of God.”

The teacher paused and said, “But no one knows what God looks like.

Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing the girl replied, “They will in a minute.”

2.

One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother wash the dishes in the sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out, unlike her brunette head.

She looked at her mother and asked curiously, “Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?” Her mother replied, “Well, every time you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.”

The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, “Mom, why are ALL of Grandma’s hairs white?”

3.

Children were lined up for lunch in the cafeteria of a Christian school. There was a large pile of apples at the head of the table. Someone had written a note and placed it next to the apples. It read, “Just take one, God is watching.”

Moving through the line, to the other end of the table, was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.

A little boy wrote his own note and placed it next to the cookies: “Take all you want, God is watching the apples.”

4.

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because although it was a very large mammal, its throat was very small.

The little girl said Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

The teacher irritatedly repeated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, ‘When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.’

The teacher asked, ‘What if Jonah went to hell?’

The little girl replied, ‘Then you ask him.’

5.

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of blood.

Trying to make the matter clearer, he said, “Now class, if I stood on my head, the blood as you know, would run into it and I should turn red in the face.”

“Yes, sir,” the class said.

“Then why is it that while I am standing upright in an ordinary position the blood doesn’t run into my feet?”

Bobby shouted, “Cause your feet ain’t empty.”

Hope this funny story will make you smile! Have a nice day!!
