To my amazing female friends aged 50 and beyond

To my amazing female friends 50 and beyond:

We’re stepping gracefully into the next phase of life. Wrinkles, grey hair, and a few extra pounds may greet us in the mirror, and we smile at the vibrant 25-year-olds we once were. But as they shine with youth, we shine with wisdom.

We’ve raised families, managed households, paid bills, and faced life’s trials—illnesses, heartbreaks, and losses of those we loved most. Yet, here we stand: survivors, warriors of quiet strength.

We are women, like fine wine or classic cars, growing more valuable with time. Our bodies may not be what they once were, but they carry our souls, courage, and resilience.

Let’s embrace this chapter with humility, grace, and pride for all we’ve endured and achieved. Growing older is a gift, a privilege many never get to experience.

The Strongest Women Are The Women With Anxiety

She has been struggling with anxiety for a long time now and she continues to carry on with strength.

She is not a victim to her mental battles, because she knows in her soul that she’s so much more than the demons living in her head.

She learned to keep her head up high when the chaos devours her, so the word weakness is practically not in her vocabulary.

She is a strong girl because she manages to survive on the battlefield of her life, dealing with a mental illness that requires a lot of courage to tame and survive on a daily basis.

She manages to get through the day, but she is fed up with coping mechanisms and has found her own way to calm her anxious mind. She always continues on with determination.

She knows how important it is not to give up because she has so much to give and she can not let her condition dictate her life. She has goals and dreams like everyone else and she just wants to be herself.

Yes, her anxiety plays tricks on her and sometimes it wins, but for the most part, she’s able to tap into her inner strength, fight back, and quickly get back on her feet.

Fighting with anxiety takes the life out of her, but she does not give up. The days she feels like drowning are hard to get through, but her heart knows it’s only temporary and she rides the wave as best she can until the apprehension and the fear that is incessantly gnawing in her mind slowly disappear.

She is the strongest woman, because when her mind fades to black, she clings to hope, takes a deep breath, and waits for the light to come back and bring her home.

She is strong-witted, intelligent and brave and even when she feels that she can’t handle what anxiety throws at her, her heart whispers in her ear and reminds her how important she is to this world and to every single person that loves her.

Her goal is to never take the easy way out, she shows up for herself every day and pushes through because she’s her own hero. As hard as it might be sometimes, she refuses to give her anxiety power.

She might break sometimes, but she knows that she is so much more than her condition and she won’t let the anxiety define who she is.

It takes a lot of resilience and inner strength to navigate this world when anxiety is always knocking at your door.

She will never give up because she knows that her bravery will always conquer her anxiety.
